Description
This bacon comes from the jowls (cheeks) of the pig. It tends to be a little fattier than regular bacon but tastes just as good and can be cooked and used in the same ways as regular bacon. Our bacon is Apple wood smoked and cured with brown sugar, salt and sodium nitrite.

This is the best bacon I’ve ever had; the perfect blend between pork belly and regular slices of bacon. There is a lot of fat so be aware of splashes (I cover and cook med-low heat) which also means there will be grease for later.
