A half beef will feed a family of four for about 9-12 months. It will fit in a freezer that is at minimum 5 cubic feet.

4 beef options. What’s the difference??
- Most affordable Grass fed and finished option: Pasture raised and only eat grass, grass hay and alfalfa hay. No grain and would be considered choice-prime No antibiotics or hormones.
- Highest quality grass fed and finished beef: Organic grass fed and finished. Considered Prime. Fed only certified grass hay and raised on certified organic pastures and of course no antibiotics or hormones.
- Healthiest grain finished option: Non-Gmo Grain Finished: Grass fed pasture raised and finished on a Soy free Non-gmo 100% vegetarian feed for 120 days for increased marbling and tenderness and is considered prime or better and of course no antibiotics or hormones.
- Low histamine: Grass fed and finished, pasture raised and only eat grass, grass hay and alfalfa hay. No grain. And are harvested processed and frozen within 3 days (standard for low histamine beef processing) as opposed to 14 days which is our normal dry aging process. And stays frozen until it reaches your door like all our meat.

Vacuum seal: Steaks are individually wrapped. Ground beef is wrapped in 1 lb packs. Vacuum seal lasts 2-3 years in the freezer.
Weight: Weight is minimum 170 lbs and includes bones for soup and broth**. These are the cuts included in a 1/2 beef (exact number of cuts can vary).

Our Grass Fed Beef is dry aged for 2 weeks.
* PLEASE NOTE: An order of a 1/2 beef will typically be shipped 10-12 weeks after order date, or 6 weeks if Expedited Shipping is selected. If ordering smaller boxes or individual items please order separately as they are on a shorter timeframe!

We are happy with our order. So far, everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Before ordering, we tried just a new york steak and did a blind taste test compared to what we can get from our local grocery store. Not even a competition – the OV steak was so much better. So far, we’ve tried the strip loin (new york), the rib steak, a sirloin tip roast, and a bunch of the hamburger. Everything we’ve had is definitelly top notch in quality. The bone in rib steak was the best so far – absoltely fantastic flavor. The bone in steaks are huge – my wife and i only defrosted 1 to share, and it was defintely enough. The ground beef we’ve made hamburgrs out of as well as cooked in other stuff. It is a bit fatty, but it’s very flavorful. If you like a good juicy burger, it’s great – if you want it a little more lean, just cook out the fat a bit more. The sirloin tip roast we put on a pellet smoker and cooked it low and slow. Came out so flavorful we ate until we were about to burst.
Now we have a freezer full of meat that does several things for us: 1: we know what is in our meat, and what is not in it – no hormones. 2: I have the comfort knowing that we have plenty of beef. I don’t have to worry about rising prices for quite some time. 3: It tastes fantastic.
As a final note, we did order some pork and chicken along with the beef. So far all we’ve tried of that is the pork chops, but they came out amazing as well.
