Beef alone is very nutrient dense. Aside from being protein packed, beef offers high amounts of iron, magnesium, zinc, copper, phosphorus, selenium + B vitamins (thiamin – B1, riboflavin – B2, niacin – B3, B6 + B12). However, organ meats hold the most nutrients of any regular cut of meat with liver being the top tier!
Not everybody loves to include organ meats in their diet due to flavor and sometimes texture. This is an awesome way to get these super foods into your diet without having to force yourself to choke it down! Beef heart and liver is ground in with our ground beef for this option. This way, the flavor is hidden but you are giving yourself an extra health boost!
