We get the beef, chicken & pork box every 4 weeks. Value seems decent and the quality is certainly better than what you would get at a grocery store. Slightly more expensive than Butcher Box (who’s prices have gone up), but worth it knowing we’re supporting a local Oregon farm and business.

I received an advertisement through PayPal suggesting to order meat through OVF. Wow, we are very happy. The chicken breasts we get at the store are usually embarrassingly big, the ones from OVF are smaller but perfect portion size. I used some Kinders Buttery Seasoning sprinkled on both sides and put them in the air fryer at 350° for about 23min along with some brussel sprouts and a few steak fries. Omg! So good. My husband is a big guy and he was satisfied with the “normal” sized portion of meat. I am happy to have found OVF, I plan on ordering more!

I echo the other positive comments about the quality of this meat. It’s delicious, notably better than grocery store meat. I too appreciate being able to support local farmers as well as having my order arrive at my door within a few days and in eco-friendly packaging. I’ve ordered the small size twice now, and each time our order included 30 to 40% ground beef, ground pork, and beef or pork sausage links. The variety of meats isn’t always what we prefer–I would love to have the option to trade the sausage links for something else, for example–but we make it work. On the flip side, each of my orders has included what I would consider a treat and not something I usually see in the grocery store, such as hangar steak and coppa. Both were incredible. The main downside for me is receiving single beef steaks and pork chops, meaning I need to figure out what to do with one steak or maybe two pork chops that are different cuts and sizes. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and the service and will order more going forward.
